JOB DESCRIPTION

Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a CT Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
 
Location: Aberdeen, WA, 98520
 
Assignment Start Date: 11/11/2024
 
13 weeks | Days | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 hours per week guaranteed

The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologists, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. The machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner.  The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient operates various pieces of specialized equipment, and determines the technical factors for exposure. He/she must ensure the correct marking/labeling of all films. The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care. He/she also must take the call. 
 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION  
 
Experience:
 
 
Prefer Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner  experience  
 
Possession of two years of diagnostic experience is desirable
 
 
Education: 
 
 
Must be a graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiology
 
 
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
 
 
WA State Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT(CT) registered as a Radiologic Technologist is required
 
Must have BLS/BCLS Certification
 
 
EMR System:  Meditech knowledge/experience required
 
Shift:  0700-1530
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
 
 
Moderate to heavy physical effort is required.
 
Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and  equipment.
 
Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
 
Ability to move forty (40) pounds six feet
 
Ability to reach overhead holding twenty-five (25) pounds
 
Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
 
Ability to pull forty (40) pounds from stretcher to bed
 
Ability to push a 150-pound  loaded stretcher 300 feet
 
Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity; motor skills to operate delicate equipment
 
Requires computer skills
 
Demonstrates accurate judgment/decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills.
 
Provides quality customer service and patient care using the standard radiology technology following established hospital policy/procedures
