JOB DESCRIPTION

Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a Registered Nurse- Emergency Dept/Supervisor. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
 
Location: Morristown, VT, 05661
 
Assignment Start Date: 11/19/2024
 
13 weeks | Days | 8-hour shift | 40 hours with 36 hours per week guaranteed 
 The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.  
  Delivery of age-specific, direct patient care. The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which include delegation of work to other levels of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
 
Supervisory duties include:
 
 
Daily unit flow, supporting Team Lead
 
Staff scheduling issues: managing callouts etc.
 
Ability to step into an assignment when the census is high or call out occurs that cannot be backfilled     including triage
 
Represent unit at house-wide bed huddles
 
 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION  
 
Experience:  
 
 
Must have at least 5 years of ED Nursing experience 
 
leadership experience preferred
 
 
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:  
 
 
A valid and current State of VT RN license is required
 
BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.  
 
PALS, ENPC, and TNCC preferred
 
 
EMR System: CPSI/Evident experience preferred
 
Shift: Days / Varied (5-8's)
