Position Name:  Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg
 
Location: Midland, MI  48640
 
Start Date: ASAP
 
Employment Type:  Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary
 
Contract Length:  13 weeks-Accepting Travel Candidates only
 
Pay Rate: $2320 weekly  
 
Unit:  Med Surg Units
 
Shift:  8  Hours; Days, 6.30a - 3.00p
 
Schedule: 40  hours / week guaranteed, Mon-Fri, No weekend or On-call  
 
Position Requirements:
 
 
Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
 
Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2 years     Required
 
Epic experience     Highly preferred
 
Prior Travel Nursing experience     Highly preferred
 
Covid Vaccination     Required
 
 
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
 
 
ASN or an equivalent     Required
 
BSN or an equivalent     Highly preferred
 
RN License for State of MI - Required
 
BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
 
 
Job Description:
 
 
This position is responsible for assessing the needs and implementing care plans for patients in the assigned units and departments.
 
Ensures that policies and procedures are met and maintains patient safety.
 
Outlines individual care plans, implements, evaluates and documents care of patient during surgery.
 
Provides leadership to the Surgery Center team, communicates with patient and family, Surgery Center team and manager and ancillary departments.
 
Performs other duties as assigned.
