Job Summary
 We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide excellent nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in high-pressure situations, and a focus on patient education and support.
 
Duties
 
 
Monitor and assess the condition of patients with diverse medical needs.
 
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
 
Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage complications as necessary.
 
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
 
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
 
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
 
Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical or a similar acute care setting.
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Active WY/Compact State RN license.
 
PALS, ACLS &  BLS certifications required.
