JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead Test Engineer (10+ years Exp)

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

The role involves leading testing initiatives, managing testing teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and deliver test plans that align with application    technological and business objectives.

Knowledge / Experience in the telecom industry or MVNO technology is a plus.

Experience with E- commerce applications are a plus.

Lead functional, integration, and regression testing efforts across various systems.

Oversee test case development, execution, and defect tracking.

Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, ensuring skill development and high team morale.

Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with the Scrum team, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to define user stories and acceptance criteria.

Ensure test planning and execution align with the iterative delivery model of Scrum.

Support backlog refinement by identifying and estimating testing tasks required for each sprint.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation tools where    appropriate.

Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities and updates.

Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify testing requirements.

Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate test data.

Verify backend data changes triggered by frontend actions, ensuring proper alignment with business logic.

Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple database systems.
