We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent to meet the staffing needs of our organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing requirements and ensure a smooth recruitment process from start to finish. The Recruiter will report to our HR & Compliance Manager and will work on-site within our two Boulder, CO locations. This is a hands-on position that will work both autonomously and as part of the HR Team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in crafting clear, compelling, and accurate job descriptions that align with organizational goals
  • Use various channels, such as job boards, social media, networking, job fairs, and referrals, to source and attract high-quality candidates
  • Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Coordinate, schedule, and host interviews, facilitate technical assessments, and provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist in the offer process, including extending offer letters
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate data and recruitment records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Recruiting experience with at least 2 years in Technical Recruiting
  • Solid understanding of technical skills and experience recruiting for roles such as software developers, engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals
  • Familiarity with sourcing techniques and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to self-teach, take initiative, and find answers on their own
  • Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and good judgment
  • Experience working with Workable ATS preferred
  • Tech-savvy with an ability to quickly learn new systems and analyze and interpret data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with job boards like Indeed, Clearance Jobs, LinkedIn, and Handshake
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

The pay range for this position is $86,000 - $110,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
