JOB DESCRIPTION
The SyteLine Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of major modifications and enhancements to the SyteLine ERP system. This role requires collaboration with both internal teams and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of ERP initiatives that align with business objectives.
To Be Successful In This Role: You will drive functionality of the ERP system to continuously enhance the efficiencies within the business to reduce costs, eliminate waste, to drive P/L growth and free cash flow. Minimize, if not eliminate, business disruptions due to ERP performance.
The Reporting Structure For This Position: This position will report to the Director of Process Improvement. Reporting to this position will be a team of IT professionals including outside consultants.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of major enhancements or modifications to the SyteLine and ERP integrated systems.
- Manage and prioritize the ERP program roadmap to ensure alignment with business needs.
Team & Resource Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, business analysts, and other functional departments, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Manage external consultants and vendors, ensuring their deliverables meet project expectations and quality standards.
Project Management:
- Define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and budgets for all major ERP-related projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones and progress.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes to project scope and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure that ERP modifications or enhancements are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure clear communication and expectations.
- Present regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders regarding program progress, risks, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved in key decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all ERP enhancements comply with organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews of system performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all modifications adhere to legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing ERP systems, with specific experience in SyteLine.
- Strong understanding of service company business processes and how they relate to ERP systems (service operations including field services & workshop repair services, product & service sales, supply chain, inventory management, warehousing, finance, etc.).
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with agile and waterfall project methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and technology trends.
Certifications (preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification.
- SyteLine ERP certification or relevant experience.

- Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually, commensurate on skills and experience
- Eligible for a Short Term Incentive (STI) Bonus plan: 10% of base salary
