Structural Analyst Ansys Hybrid Fort Worth

JOB DESCRIPTION

 
We are looking for a Structural Analyst for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural integrity of the Blades, Rotors, and Transmission/Drive Systems on the next generation of vertical lift aircraft.  
 
This  4-day 10-hour shifts per week)  role;  this is a hybrid role at Fort Worth, TX.  
 
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
 
 
 
Performing conceptual/preliminary/detailed structural analysis using classical methods and finite element software, calculating Margin of Safety and conducting fatigue analysis to determine component retirement time of metallic and composite structures, conducting modal/buckling/crack propagation/thermal analysis, collaborating with Design, Materials & Process, and Test Engineers, and create structural substantiation reports to support drawing release and certification efforts.
 
 
Requirements:
 
 
5+ years of experience in structural analysis.
 
Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
 
Experience with  ANSYS FEA & CFD analytical tools.
 
US Citizenship required.
 
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field.

Compensation: $75/hr - $110/hr
