**PROJECT DETAILS**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

- Under general supervision of management of the Bureau of Technology, responsible for planning, maintaining, and managing usage quotas.
- Restores disaster recovery; optimization; and implements strategic planning for all back-end storage devices.
- Provides daily administration, support and management of the SAN and NAS environment.
- Responsible for the testing and assists with leading and facilitating groups across all levels of the County to deliver valued outcomes to drive business decisions.
- Evaluates, tests, designs and integrates new storage technologies into the environment to meet changing business needs.
- Develops Disaster Recovery Planning and Design for all facilities Under the President.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED DEGREE**

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree SUPPLEMENTED WITH six (6) years’ work experience in a storage engineer role

**REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(S)**

**REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**

Experience with enterprise storage solutions; enterprise backup solutions; replication redundancy; and installation and configuration of storage equipment.
