JOB DESCRIPTION

 
Position:  Sterile  Tech
 
Location: Redding, CA 96001
 
Pay Rate: $42-$44/hr
 
Shift: Nights(4x10hrs---  Friday-Monday 2100-0730, First to Float)
 
Work Week: 40  hours per week
 
Gross weekly: $1,889/week
 
Duration: 13  weeks
 
Unit Type: OR (Operating Room)
 
 
 Charting System: EPIC Systems Cerner 
Trauma Level: 2
 
Responsibilities:
 
 
Sterilize and process surgical instruments and medical equipment.
 
Inspect and assemble instrument trays, ensuring completeness and functionality.
 
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
 
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
 
Adhere to infection control guidelines and standards.
 
Assist in inventory management and ordering of sterile supplies.
 
 

 Requirements:
 
 
Certified Sterile Processing Technician certification.
 
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.
 
Covid Vaccination
 
BLS Not Required
 
SSN & DL
 
 Ability to Relocate: Redding, CA Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
