**PROJECT DETAILS**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

- Under the general supervision of management of the Bureau of Technology, creates and maintains Microsoft SQL databases for county-wide applications and websites.
- Responsibilities include designing databases; performance tuning; high availability; security; managing backup/recovery strategy; and knowledge of various Microsoft SQL software and Window versions.
- Assists with assessment and implementation of new technologies, leading and facilitating groups across all levels of the organization to deliver valued outcomes which drive business decisions.
- Works with architecture, application development and operations to achieve a state-of-the-art environment meeting current and future business objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED DEGREE**

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree.

**REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(S)**

Microsoft Certified solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification (Preferred but not must)
