Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
Location: Muskegon, MI (Relocating to Byron Center in July)
Pay Range: $20/hr
Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

About the Role:
Our client, a leading company in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team. This role is critical in supporting daily shipping and receiving operations, maintaining accurate inventory, and coordinating outbound shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and good organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and receive inbound products into the company, ensuring accurate inventory records in the database.
Coordinate all outbound shipments using the database.
Assign and dispatch driver activity for outbound shipments.
Communicate with internal teams regarding shipping and receiving concerns.
Run open customer PO reports and verify product readiness for shipment.
Collaborate with production managers on order timelines, past-due orders, and shortages.
Check with outsource vendors on order statuses and communicate updates with key stakeholders.
Inspect inbound and outbound products through the database system.
Provide support to the manufacturing department.
Monitor inventory levels of company and customer-rendered materials, notifying the Business Unit Manager of any discrepancies.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and organizational skills.
High attention to detail.
Knowledge of production processes.
Ability to read and understand multi-level bill of materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Requirements:

Associate degree or equivalent years of experience.
1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong customer service skills while following company procedures.
