Job Description:
7+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management - Sourcing & Procurement
SAP BTP Consultant.
Role Description:
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise integrations on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with a primary focus on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI/SAP Integration Suite). You will architect, implement, and govern integrations between SAP (S/4HANA/ERP/EWM/IBP/etc.), MOM/Manufacturing systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk), and ASRS/AGV ensuring secure, compliant, and highly available data flows.
Essential Skills:
Architecture & Design
Define target integration architectures on BTP (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Connector, Private Link) for SAP?MOM and SAP?ADR patterns (real-time, near-real-time, batch).
Select protocols and patterns: OData/REST/SOAP, IDoc/ALE, SFTP/AS2, JMS, publish–subscribe, request–reply, guaranteed delivery.
Model canonical schemas and mappings; govern reuse via API-first design and versioning.
Build & Delivery (CPI / Integration Suite)
Develop iFlows (routing, transformation, orchestration) with Groovy/JavaScript scripts, XSLT, JSONata, EDI/B2B mappings (X12/EDIFACT if needed).
Configure trading partners and B2B add-ons for vendor/plant connections; implement alerting, retries, idempotency, and dead-letter handling.
Stand up secure connectivity to plants and third parties via Cloud Connector, IPSec VPN, reverse proxy, mTLS, OAuth2 SAMLBearerAssertion/Client Credentials.
MOM & ADR Integrations
Implement shop-floor integrations to MES/MOM for production orders, confirmations, quality results, and equipment status using Event Mesh/JMS or OPC-UA gateways (where applicable).
Build safety/ADR interfaces for case intake, product dictionaries, SUSAR/ICSR exchanges, acknowledgments, and audit trails with compliance controls (GxP/21 CFR Part 11).
Security, Compliance & Ops
Apply zero-trust principles (IAS/IPS, role collections, OAuth scopes), certificate lifecycle/rotation, payload encryption, data masking, and PII handling.
Establish monitoring & observability (CPI Message Monitor, Alert Notification, Cloud ALM/SolMan), SLAs, and runbooks.
Set up Transport Management Service (TMS) and CI/CD (Git/Jenkins/GitHub Actions) for iFlow/API artifacts."
