Job Summary
 We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage complex patient needs, and a commitment to patient education.
 
Duties
 
 
Monitor and assess the cardiac condition of patients in the Telemetry Unit.
 
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
 
Administer medications and perform interventions as needed.
 
Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and post-discharge care.
 
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic or Meditech.
 
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
 
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Telemetry Unit or similar acute care setting.
 
Inpatient care experience is required.
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Active CA State RN license.
 
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
