Job Summary
 We are seeking a skilled and motivated Obstetric RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant labor and delivery experience, ensure a safe and comforting birth experience, and support effective patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maternal and neonatal health.
 
Duties
 
 
Manage labor and delivery, providing direct care to mothers and newborns.
 
Receive and assess newborns, with experience in neonatal resuscitation.
 
Use fetal monitoring equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
 
Administer medications and support pain management as needed.
 
Document procedures accurately in electronic health record systems.
 
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
 
Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
 
At least 1 year of experience receiving newborns and regular neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) use, ideally weekly.
 
Experience in high-volume or hospital obstetric settings is preferred.
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Active Texas RN license.
 
Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Fetal Monitoring are required.
