JOB DESCRIPTION

 
 
 General job duties. Types of procedures required. Put patients on dialysis, monitor during dialysis treatment, general duties as needed in the unit, as well as documentation and charting as needed. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept Braun dialysis machines, EPIC One Chart computer charting. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1-2 years of experience, must be proficient at performing dialysis related nursing tasks. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS Required. MN state RN License. Shift or schedule requirements. Shifts are 12 hour days with variable start and end times during hours of operation: 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. Guaranteed 36 hours per weeks. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Travel throughout hospital to perform dialysis treatments. The inpatient dialysis room accommodates 2 patients at one time. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 2:1 nurse to patient ratio Dress Code: 
 
 
Comments:8 hour shifts starting at 7:30a to 4:00p and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Guaranteed 32 or 36 hours with up to 40 possible at times. Small inpatient dialysis set up; 2 beds. Float to OP if able and as needed. Must have the MN state RN license for submission. will take local candidates who live within 80 miles of facility. Client rate will be reduced by xx8.00/hour.
