JOB DESCRIPTION

 
 
 General job duties. Types of procedures required. Circulate CV cases in OR. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Epic (Optime) Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years CV experience; Will also float to other OR's. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. ND or compact state RN license. BLS, ACLS - both AHA Shift or schedule requirements. This RN will circulate rooms independently. Off-site call is required. They will not be required to work alone when on call- there will be other OR staff in house to support. Floating to other units/departments. Will assist in cases for other specialties they have experience with as needed when CV cases are not scheduled. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 16 OR   s Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:1 Dress Code: OR Scrubs are provided. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. OR orientation coordinated by OR educator. Will meet upon arrival and determine orientation needs. 
 
 
Comments:have a current traveler in this spot, cannot start anyone sooner than posted target start date. 8 or 10 hour shifts - 40 hours per week. Will need to stay late as needed based on cases running over or scheduling. This time is not considered call back. Call one day a week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks. help with other cases as needed outside of CV. Cannot take traveler who lives within 60 miles of the hospital, can take them if they live 61 to 80 as a local traveler. Rate to client will then be reduced by xx8.00/hour.
