Production Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Salary: $ 102,500.00
 
  
 
We have partnered with a large chemical manufacturer in the Georgetown, SC area to provide them with a Production Engineer.  Please review the below description and let us know  if you are interested.  
 
  
 
Prioritized must haves for the Production Engineer:  
 
#1.  Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or similar degree in a field of Chemistry/Engineering
 
#2. 2+ years of Chemical Manufacturing or Engineering Experience 
 
  
 
Requirements  for the  Production Engineer:
 
 
Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or similar degree in a field of Chemistry/Engineering (Required) 
 
2+ years of Chemical Manufacturing or Engineering Experience (Preferred)
 
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs to four levels height in production areas. 
 
Frequent standing, reaching, bending, stretching, and walking may be required. 
 
Must constantly remain mentally alert. 
 
Must be able to wear respirator as needed. 
 
Must have (or be corrected to) 20/20 visual acuity. Must have good color perception. 
 
Occasional lifting up to 55 pounds is required. 
 
Must be able to understand and respond to instructions and alarms in the plant. 
 
Must be able to see, hear, and present clear presentations to small and large groups. 
 
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and normal levels of job stress. 
 
Must be available for irregular shift hours and frequent call-ins or callbacks. 
 
Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required 
 
Must be able to work in confined spaces 
 
Must be able to understand and respond to instructions and alarms in the plant 
 
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and normal levels of job stress 
 
Must be available for irregular shift hours and frequent call-ins or callbacks
