Press Brake Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hire Direct is currently interviewing Press Brake Operators to join an established, growing team  focusing on safety, quality, and employee engagement in  Waxahachie, Texas.  As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for independently setting up machinery, troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and conducting first-part  and in-process inspections per blueprints.

Hourly wage $25.00 - $29.00 Hr.
 
Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 4:00 pm     2:30 am

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
Must have experience with brake press
 
Responsible for machine/program set-up
 
Ability to troubleshoot problems and challenges
 
Must be able to follow job specifications/travelers, and interpret direction details
 
Must be able to take direction while also self-guide work tasks
 
Responsible for initial QC of finished part to ensure quality
 
Ability to work independently and self-guide tasks
 
 
  
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
Minimum of 2 years' experience 
 
Metal manufacturing/fabrication background
 
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
 
Must be able to set up machine and tool exchange
 
Ability to read Blueprints
 
Laser punch, waterjet, CNC router, and/or welding experience, a plus
 
Amada America machinery experience preferred (ATC, HDS, RG3)
 
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check)
