Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Portfolio Manager - Asset Management to join our investment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of assets across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, alternative investments, and other securities. You will be tasked with optimizing portfolio performance, conducting in-depth market research, and delivering on client investment objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of financial markets, and the ability to manage risk and deliver long-term growth for clients.Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management: Manage a range of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives, risk tolerance, and asset allocation guidelines. Make tactical and strategic investment decisions to optimize returns.

Investment Research & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify investment opportunities. Utilize both top-down macroeconomic analysis and bottom-up company/asset-level research to inform portfolio strategy.

Risk Management: Monitor and assess portfolio risk, employing risk management tools and techniques to mitigate exposure while maximizing returns. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.

Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed portfolio performance reports to clients and senior management, including returns, asset allocation, and risk metrics.

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding portfolio performance, investment strategy, and market outlook. Provide regular updates, hold client meetings, and respond to client inquiries.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, traders, and other portfolio managers to ensure seamless portfolio management and execution of investment strategies.

Market Trends & Insights: Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and industry innovations to guide investment decisions.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in portfolio management.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset management, portfolio management, or a related financial services role. Experience managing multi-asset class portfolios is highly desirable.

Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and portfolio theory.
- Proficiency with investment management software, financial modeling, and risk management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and provide thoughtful insights and recommendations.

Certifications: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent professional designation is preferred but not required.
Salary Range:
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus potential, typically 20-40% of base salary, depending on individual and firm performance.
