 Job Summary 
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and ensure the safe and effective use of medications. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, the ability to work in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to patient education and safety.
 Duties 
 
Review and interpret medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy.
 
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
 
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive medication management plans.
 
Monitor patient medication therapies and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
 
Maintain accurate and thorough patient medication records using electronic health record systems.
 
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication dispensing and management.
 
Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
 
 Experience 
 
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
 
Inpatient care experience is preferred.
 
 Requirements 
 
Active CA State Pharmacist license.
 
PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
 
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
