Job Summary
 We are seeking a skilled and motivated PCU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, manage critical patients in the progressive care unit, and support an efficient care environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient well-being.
 
Duties
 
 
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and manage complex care plans for progressive care patients.
 
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and responding to critical changes.
 
Document all procedures accurately in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
 
Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
 
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
 
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a PCU or high-acuity care setting.
 
Experience in high-volume or urban healthcare settings is preferred.
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Active California RN license.
 
Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and proof of COVID vaccination are required.
 
Float to Tele or MedSurg
