The Dental Director is responsible for the leadership & oversight of close-knit, positive staff as well as providing professional, high-quality dental treatment to a broad range of patients in our community. Three years experience preferred (not required).

Maintain appointment schedule & meet patient needs as they arise Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment techniques & refer care as appropriate Obtain and record client's dental health history; evaluate patients' intraoral & peri-oral hard and soft tissue condition; including caries, endodontic/periodontal pathology, soft tissue & developmental pathology Develop patient treatment plan; including preventive, endodontic, periodontal, restorative, follow up care and maintain client charts Provide and prescribe medications within area of specialtyDUTIES for Dental Director
Lead & supervise staff - Hygienists, Dental Assistants and Patient Services Maintain appointment schedule Ensure clinic's compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, DPH, JCAHO) Develop, implement & maintain dental policies & procedures Oversee the Quality Assurance & Infection Control Programs Ensure protocols for equipment maintenance Develop, implement & maintain clinical protocols for patient care & patient issues Review weekly, monthly & quarterly financial & productivity data At least annually, review and revise as necessary the payer mix, fee schedules & financial and productivity goals Oversee financial performance of the dental programWhy You Will Love North Bend/Coos Bay Nestled along the stunning Southern Oregon coast, North Bend is a charming town that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and small-town charm.
