JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: RN- Med Surg/Telemetry, Progressive Care (PCU)
 
Start Date: 12/2/2024
 
Duration: 13 weeks
 
Location: Claremont, NH, 03743
 
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days, 12
 
Shift Notes: 12hr Days 36hr gt
 
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holiday coverage required
 
On-Call Requirements: No Call

Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY.
 
Dress Code:  Personal scrubs of any color
 
Patient Population:  Newborn - Geriatric
 
RN/Patient Ratio:    5:1, depending on acuity.  Higher acuity PCU patients would be 3:1 or 4:1.  This is for both day and night shifts.  
 
  
 
** Experience in the Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required.  
 
** This is a very small unit/facility, rural experience is preferred.    Must be able to work independently/Hit the ground running!  
 
** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!    5 DAYS OR LESS OF RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR A 13 WEEK ASSIGNMENT.  
 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 
 
PLEASE NOTE THE DECEMBER 2 START DATE! 
 
3+ years PCU, Med /Surg, Tele Experience -Required
 
Tele experience     Required
 
Basic dysrhythmia test required in profile
 
Previous travel experience     Highly Preferred
 
Rural/small facility experience     Highly Preferred
 
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
