Network Security Vulnerability Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skills: 
 
 
Understanding Network and End-point Security and Asset Tracking solutions and Threat Modeling. 
 
Possess knowledge of network monitoring and traffic analysis, Axonius cybersecurity asset tracking, Tenable.io, Tanium vulnerability and patch management solutions and remediation tracking in production environment across the enterprise. 
 
Ability to create reports and dashboards using Power BI, Vulnerability/Patch Management APIs and Python scripting.
 
 
  
 
Experience Required: 
 
 
Minimum of 10 years of experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
 
Minimum 5 years working experience with Tenable.io/sc network and cloud vulnerability management solution including: 
 
Network vulnerability analysis and prioritizing remediation efforts. 
 
CVSS v3 and vulnerability ratings.
 
Assessing risk level of identified vulnerabilities, asset value, exposure and impact. 
 
Configure and customize scanning policies and templates. 
 
Asset tagging and grouping.
 
Performance tuning and reporting.
 
Threat Modeling. 
 
 
 
Minimum 5 years working experience with utilizing automation tools, API integration, and python scripting. 
 
Minimum 3 years working experience utilizing Tanium for patching and deployments 
 
Minimum 3 years working experience with Axonius cybersecurity asset management
 
 
  
 
Education Required: 
 
 
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
 
 
  
 
Certification's Preferred: 
 
 
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). 
 
GIAC Cloud Security Essential (GCLD).
 
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
 
CompTIA A+.
 
CompTIA Network+.
