JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical

Duration: 13 weeks
 
Location: Towson, MD, 21204
 
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights, 7:00 PM  - 7:30 AM, 12
 
Shift Notes:  36 hours GTD
 
Weekend Requirements: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
 
On-Call Requirements: The call schedule is to be determined by the facility

OT starts after 48 hours
 
  
 
** Candidates may request the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours. For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7-day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate. A candidate contracted for 40 hours/week would be able to request 40 hours off.  
 
** Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out. RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday
 
  
 
This position assesses plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients following organizational policies and following standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
 Submission Requirements 
 
2 years recent Med Surg experience -  REQUIRED
 
Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed.
 
Stroke experience required- PLEASE LIST ON RESUME
