JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a hands-on and versatile Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle. This role bridges the gap between design and production, ensuring that manufacturing processes are robust, scalable, and aligned with product requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting complex technical data packages and collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve technical queries. Responsibilities NPI Support: Collaborate with R&D, design, and supply chain teams to transition products from development to production. Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new products, including tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods. Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Technical Data Package (TDP) Support: Interpret and clarify engineering drawings, PCBA schematics, BOMs, and specifications for internal teams and external suppliers. Serve as the primary point of contact for technical questions related to the TDP. Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and production-ready. Process Engineering: Define and optimize assembly and test processes for electro-mechanical systems. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, quality, and supplier engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements. Support supplier onboarding and technical training as needed. Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
