JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager -  Risk Management  to lead our organization's risk identification, assessment, and mitigation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage and minimize various risks, including operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks. The Risk Management Manager will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that risk management practices align with business goals and compliance standards.
 Key Responsibilities: 
 
 
Risk Assessment: Lead the identification, evaluation, and assessment of risks across the organization, including financial, operational, strategic, and compliance risks.
 
 
 
Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls, working closely with department leaders to ensure effective application.
 
 
 
Risk Reporting: Prepare and present risk management reports to senior leadership, highlighting key risks, trends, and mitigation activities.
 
 
 
Risk Policies & Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce company-wide risk management policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
 
 
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, operations, and IT, to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.
 
 
 
Incident Management: Oversee and manage the investigation of risk-related incidents and support the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
 
 
 
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company's risk management activities are in compliance with industry regulations, standards, and laws.
 
 
 
Training & Awareness: Lead risk management training and awareness programs for staff at all levels to foster a risk-aware culture.
 
 
 
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and review the effectiveness of existing risk management frameworks and processes, making recommendations for improvements.
 
 
 
Vendor Risk Management: Assess and manage third-party/vendor risks to minimize potential impact to the organization.
 
 
 Qualifications: 
 
 
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Certified Risk Professional (CRP)) is a plus.
 
 
 
Experience:
 
 
At least 5-7 years of experience in risk management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing risks at an organizational level.
 
Experience in financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors is highly preferred.
 
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
 
Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management software/tools is advantageous.
 
 
 
 
Skills:
 
 
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex risk issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and risk management software.
 
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
 
 
 
Certifications:
 
 
Risk Management Certification (e.g., CRM, FRM, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
 
 
 
 Salary Range: 
$95,000     $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
