**JOB DESCRIPTION**

- Manage, coordinate, and mature organizational-wide security engineering initiatives to execute the Bureau/Department's mission and vision.
- Assist with all ongoing countywide activities that provide operational security and privacy is maintained.
- Serve as the principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise involving the information security or privacy controls for systems.
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day information system security and privacy operations.
- Manage data forensic capabilities, cyber security research and development, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and the Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) programs.
- Oversee the development, implementation, monitoring and enhancement of the system and security framework of policies, procedures, standards, incident resolution, and security, privacy training and awareness.
- In collaboration with system owners, they play an active role in the monitoring of a system and its environment of operation to include developing and updating system security and privacy plans, managing and controlling changes to the system, and assessing the information security and privacy impact of those changes.
