Job Title: Maintenance Generalist

 Primary Skill: Maintenance Job Description: 
This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The Maintenance Generalist will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets at a pork processing facility. Key duties include resolving facility and equipment issues that arise in daily operations and ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
     
  • Working on systems related to hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/DC control wiring, welding, and pneumatics.
    •  
  • Setting up, adjusting, and dismantling production machinery.
    •  
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
    •  
  • Reading and understanding equipment manuals and documentation.
    •  
  • Completing daily reports and paperwork accurately.
    •  
 
Work Environment:
 
     
  • Conditions may be wet and humid, ranging from 35  F to over 90  F.
    •  
  • Physical demands include climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, walking on hard floors, and occasionally lifting up to 60 lbs.
    •  
  • Position requires Sunday shifts and potential overtime.
    •  
 Requirements: 
     
  • Candidates who have worked with this client previously must have a 180-day rehire waiting period, with a maximum of three employments allowed.
    •  
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience or training in any of the following areas: 
       
    • Mechanical troubleshooting
      •  
    • Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting
      •  
    • Hydraulic troubleshooting
      •  
    • PLC troubleshooting and navigation

  • Open to all shifts (United States) with priority for 2nd shift candidates, though shift flexibility is required.

  • Starting wage: $19.30 per hour for the first week, increasing to $25.30 per hour thereafter.
