We have partnered with an environmental services  company in the Adams, NE  area to provide them with a Lab Technician. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
 
  
 
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Lab Technician:
 
#1. At least 2 years of Laboratory experience, must be actual running of tests and running lab equipment, bachelor's in chemistry or science field preferred, data entry.
 
#2. Technical degree and/or certification in science related field with laboratory requirements.
 
#3. Equivalent and relevant work experience may be substituted for certain education requirements. A high school diploma or GED is required.
 
#4. Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
 
#5. Expertise in making precise and accurate measurements.
 
  
 
Requirements for the Lab Technician:
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
 
Technical degree or certification in a science-related field with laboratory experience.
 
Relevant work experience may be accepted in place of some educational requirements; however, a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
 
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
 
Ability to perform precise and accurate measurements.
 
 
Required Skills and Abilities:
 
 
Availability to work four 10-hour shifts per week; must be able to complete training on the day shift.
 
Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
 
Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and troubleshooting abilities.
 
Capability to draft routine reports and correspondence, and accurately enter data into records.
 
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
 
Competency in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as working with fractions, the metric system, percentages, and decimals, with the ability to convert units as needed.
 
High importance on safety practices.
 
Willingness to work overtime as required.
