Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Insurance Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will provide expert guidance to clients, helping them understand and choose the best insurance policies to meet their needs. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, assess their insurance needs, and offer tailored solutions in life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs, risk factors, and financial goals.
- Product Recommendation: Advise clients on a wide range of insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, and commercial policies.
- Policy Sales: Provide quotes, explain policy terms, and guide clients through the process of purchasing new insurance plans or renewing existing ones.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term client relationships by providing excellent customer service and ongoing support.
- Claims Assistance: Assist clients with the insurance claims process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to provide clients with the most relevant and competitive options.
- Compliance: Ensure all recommendations and transactions comply with legal and regulatory standards, including maintaining proper licensure and certifications.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate client records, manage policy renewals, and handle client communications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales, customer service, or financial services is highly desirable.
- Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain relevant state insurance licenses (e.g., Life & Health, Property & Casualty).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with insurance software and CRM tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Base Salary: $70,000 $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Commission: Competitive commission structure, based on sales performance.
