Senior Infrastructure Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Infrastructure Analyst will support a Randstad client in Washington, DC, providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for end-users, applications, infrastructure, platforms, or network services related to eMD device deployment. In this role, the Analyst will serve as a technical expert, leading efforts on moderately complex tasks and projects with potential business impact. Acting in a consultative capacity within project teams, the Analyst will deliver technical support, system administration, and expertise in emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot existing information systems, applications, middleware, or networks to identify and resolve errors or deficiencies, evaluating alternative solutions. 
Lead teams in resolving escalated support issues, coordinating with vendors as necessary to address problems. 
Provide technical expertise across business functions and identify process improvement opportunities via new technologies. 
Research and analyze relevant technologies and assess emerging tech for organizational benefits. 
Make recommendations that could shape the organization's long-term technology strategy across business units. 
Assist in developing and analyzing strategies for sourcing and selecting technology solutions. 
Work with service providers to align technical solutions with enterprise strategy and architecture. 
Serve as a consultant and escalation point for technical issues, offering advice to project managers. 
Conduct technical analyses to define, assess, and monitor project or service specifications. 
Design innovative solutions, recommending short-term alternatives when appropriate. 
Support senior technologists' participation in relevant industry forums.
