Position:   Occupational Therapist(OT) - Rehabilitation
 
Start Date: 3/24/2025
 
Duration: 13 weeks
 
Location: Vandalia, IL, 62471
 
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days, 8
 
Shift Notes: M- F (40-Hour Guarantee)
 
Weekend Requirements: No Weekends
 
On-Call Requirements: No Call

Traveler Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address  (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
 
EMR:  Cerner
 
Dress Code:  Maroon scrub top, black scrub pants

Non-billable hours: 16 hours  
 
Applicants within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.  Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible.  
 
 
  
 
  
 
Occupational Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients improve, regain, and develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work. Occupational Therapists utilize a variety of skills including but not limited to therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, fabricating/issuing splints, adaptive equipment recommendations, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and physical modalities. They develop custom programs aimed at improving activities of daily living. Therapists demonstrate effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.

BLS (AHA)  - Required
