Job Summary
 We are seeking a motivated and skilled ICU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, round-the-clock care to critically ill patients, collaborating closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
 
Duties
 
 
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vitals continuously.
 
Administer medications, IV drips, and blood transfusions as prescribed.
 
Operate and monitor life-support equipment, such as ventilators and dialysis machines.
 
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
 
Communicate with patients' families regarding treatment plans and progress.
 
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic or Meditech.
 
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
 
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU or similar acute care setting.
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Active AZ State RN license or compact license.
 
ACLS, BLS & PALS  certifications required.
 
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a high-acuity setting and is committed to delivering high-quality care to ICU patients.
 
Will FLOAT to ED, Med/Surg or Peds in case of low census.
