JOB DESCRIPTION

Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for an Occupational Therapist(Inpatient Acute Care). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
 
Location: Honolulu, 00  to  $109,990.00

Occupational Therapist (OT): Plans, develops, and implements progressive rehabilitation programs for patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION  
 
Experience: 
 
 
Prior Occupational Therapy experience in acute care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or home health environments is preferred.
 
Acute care experience is highly preferred.
 
 
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:  
 
 
Current Hawaii State license as an Occupational Therapist.
 
Current certification as Occupational Therapy Registered (OTR) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
 
Current BLS certification.
 
 
EMR System:  Knowledge or experience desired
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
 
 
Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
 
Constant: reaching below the shoulder.
 
Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting usual weight of 15 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of up to 50 pounds, reaching above/below shoulder, squatting, twisting body, carrying usual weight of 15 pounds, repetitive arm/hand motions.
 
Occasional: kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.
