Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Desktop Support - Remote, Service Desk, and Field Services.
  • This role requires day shifts and may involve travel.
  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our field services projects and ensuring seamless technical operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot issues and determine if hardware, software, or user error.
  • Troubleshooting, Replacing of networked printers
  • Install and maintain hardware, software, peripheral equipment, network cabling and cables at workstations and data cabinets/IDF.
  • Help with employee cubicle and building moves.
  • Daily use of Service Now Ticketing
  • Work tickets and document in a timely fashion according to our SLA
  • Familiar with DELL and HP systems (Desktops / Laptops)
  • Working with docking stations, CC terminals, scanners and other peripherals
  • Navigating Windows 10, Office 365, MS Teams, VMWare
  • Work on Mobile devices and MFA
  • Working with remote tools
  • Knowledge in working in a clinical environment (not required but desired)
  • Knowing when to escalate an issue
  • Comfortable asking questions
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to listen and retain instructions
  • Understand working in a networked environment
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Strong background in Desktop Support - Remote, Service Desk, and Field Services.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with geospatial software and applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certification in geospatial analysis or a related field.
Experience:
  • 6 to 10 years
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Service Desk/Desktop Support - Remote/Field Services
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of prior experience supporting PCs and printers preferred.
    A+, Comp TIA and / or MCSA Certification preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows and Office, and Active Directory
