Note: This is a fully remote opportunity, seeking candidates located in the East Coast or Central Time Zone . Summary Taxwell is seeking a part-time Email Marketing Consultant/Specialist (20 hours/week) for a 9-month engagement to support the Marketing Manager in executing email and campaign initiatives for our two B2B businesses, TaxAct Professional and Drake Software. This role is ideal for a hands-on email marketing professional who can contribute both strategically and tactically helping to bring campaigns to life, optimize performance, and enhance customer lifecycle communications. The consultant will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, effective execution of email programs. Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of B2B email marketing campaigns across TaxAct Professional and Drake Software. Partner with the Marketing Manager and stakeholders to implement campaign strategies, priorities, and content. Assist in managing the email campaign intake process and executing against the email calendar. Help develop and deploy email campaigns aligned to broader marketing strategies. Coordinate with the data team to define and obtain target audiences for campaigns. Collaborate with the creative team on email assets, including copy, tone, and imagery. Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance, providing actionable insights. Assist in executing A/B tests and applying test-and-learn insights to improve campaign performance (as needed). Identify opportunities to optimize email marketing efforts and increase engagement. Participate in stakeholder meetings to align on upcoming campaigns and priorities. Stay current on email marketing best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, data privacy). Provide additional email marketing support and execution as needed. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Must have hands-on experience driving strategic initiatives 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on email and/or CRM programs. Experience supporting B2B marketing initiatives preferred. Proven ability to execute email campaigns from concept through deployment. Experience using data to inform targeting, strategy, and optimization. Familiarity with CRM/email platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot preferred). Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Workfront and Miro (preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-directed.
