Job Title     Electrical Estimator, Construction
 
Location     Evansville, Indiana  ( Relocation $ Available )
 
Base Salary     $ 110,000     $130,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits
 
  
 
Major Construction company seeking an Electrical Estimator to work at our Evansville, Indiana location.
 
Work Schedule:
 
 
8-hour shift / Monday to Friday
 
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
 
 
Prepare cost estimates for various projects, including conceptual, design-build, and general tender work.
 
Independently calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs based on proposals, plans, and specifications, including project closings.
 
Review data to determine material and labor requirements, creating detailed itemized lists.
 
Draft requests for quotations to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
 
Utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid Classic or Anywhere) for precise cost calculations.
 
Collaborate with Estimating Manager to establish indirect costs and overheads for each estimate.
 
 
Job Requirements:
 
 
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
 
2 + years of electrical estimating experience in the electrical contracting industry.
 
Experience in developing electrical service quotes/estimates in a similar role.
 
Knowledge of electrical sub-trades scope of work.
 
Understanding of electrical drawings and interpret schematics and P&IDs.
 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of Accubid Estimating Software.
