Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-230pm, 430PM Currently working Mandatory 10 hour shift

Delivery Driver Job Description
 
  
 
 
A delivery driver's job is to  transport goods from a business or mail facility to a customer's address.  Their responsibilities include:
 
 
  
 
 
Driving:  Following traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety best practices.  Driving a company vehicle safely and courteously.  
 
Loading and unloading:  Loading goods onto the delivery vehicle and unloading them at the customer's location.  
 
Delivering:  Making deliveries on time and to the correct address.  
 
Customer service:  Providing exceptional customer service and obtaining signatures from customers.  
 
Paperwork:  Completing paperwork and reports related to deliveries.  
 
Maintenance:  Performing basic truck maintenance, such as refueling and visual inspections.  
 
Routing:  Identifying efficient routes to avoid delays.  
 
Protocols:  Maintaining knowledge of delivery protocols and following safety and lifting protocols.  
 
Administrative:  Ensuring proper administrative procedures are followed
 
 
 
Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 
A valid driver's license
 
A clean driving record
 
Auto insurance
 
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
 
Safe driving skills and ability to multitask
 
Strong customer service skills

Must have Valid ID and Driver License
 
Must pass 10 panel drug test.
 
Highscool Diploma or GED
