Job Description:  The Role: The client’s high-profile SoC Platform Engineering team is seeking a hardworking system-engineering lab technician to help test the latest SoC products and contribute to issue identification, replication, and problem resolution. This role will be pivotal in bringing the client’s next generation SoC based products into Data Center products. The Person: Technical Engineer II responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and debug of server hardware infrastructure. Responsibilities: Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies. Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities. Deploy and maintain NPI server products while overseeing the efforts of other engineers and contractors. Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program. Rack and stack servers, cable management in the client Datacenter environment per defined guidelines. Preferred Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment Experience in areas of data center system deployment, software development, and validation. Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking Familiar with Jira or other ticketing systems Ability to function independently with little direct supervision. Physical Requirements – Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed. Should be able to travel on short notices. Soldering skills and CompTIA certification is a plus.
