 Title: Data Analyst
 Location: Erie, PA     Onsite
 Duration: 12+ Months Contract
 Pay rate: $65-70/hr (DOE)
 

    Analyze business and functional requirements by working with BA teams to understand business requirements and the existing source systems. Lend specific subject matter & technical expertise to various phases of each project life cycle to deliver harmonization/reporting needs for Data movement across the applications and systems.
    Perform business data analysis, data mapping, by applying knowledge of query languages (SQL& NOSQL)
    Analyze XML, JSON request and responses to map them to data elements to UI screens, schema and database tables.
    Participate in sprint planning and review meetings and provide regular updates in the project standup meeting about progress of data analyst activities, report in case of any issues or blockers and mitigation plan.
    Create the Data Conceptual/Logical Data Models for target database using the data modelling tools RSA and Erwin. Also create various artifacts to maintain Data Modelling Standards & procedures.
    Preparing Data Mapping requirements by Identifying various tables and referential data from the source systems and create the "Source to Target Mapping Documents" [STMs].
    Reviewing the Data Mapping rules with the business analysts, developers and QA team for end-to-end testing and also to participate in triage of QA/ UAT defects.  
    Provide strategies, guidance, best practices, defining processes for the team, discuss roadblocks, performance issues and follow-ups on issues.
    Postproduction validation to ensure production deployments are successful and data being navigated asper the business requirements.
    Provide on-going maintenance and support for production applications and respond to errors and batch job issues.
    Involve in Production deployment activities for all the changes (Data Model, Stored Procedures, Code/Decode scripts, SQL code fix)
    Responsible for Triaging Production Defects, analysing and addressing/fixing Issues with the help of development team within SLAs defined
    Clearly communicate the expectations and clarifications with Business and IT.
    Time management is key; therefore, estimation and plan the work
    Design, develop, test, debug data for integration of many UI applications used by users (Customer , Agents and Customer Care representatives) with external, upstream and downstream applications.
    Work with tools and technologies used by Project teams such as Mark Logic, XML Schemas, XQuery, Octane, Service Now and Quality Center.
