**Job Title : Computer Systems Administrator**
**Location: Frederick, MD, Onsite**

**This position is onsite in Frederick, MD with 1 day/week working from home.**

**Candidate must have a Public Trust Clearance is required.**

This starts out as a 6 month contract

Experience Required:

- Hardware & software installation
- Windows
- Active Directory
- Virtual Machines (VMs)

Duties:

- Installing and maintaining: Setting up and maintaining computer hardware and software, including operating systems and applications
- Configuring and troubleshooting: Configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users
- Security: Maintaining security for networks and systems, including performing security tests and monitoring
- Performance: Evaluating and optimizing network and system performance
- User management: Adding users to networks, assigning security permissions, and training users
- Monitoring: Monitoring data centers and resources to ensure systems are working properly
- Backups and disaster recovery: Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Problem solving: Quickly resolving network problems, such as computer viruses, slow performance, and DNS issues
- Updates: Keeping equipment and software up to date
- Incident response: Responding to incidents and providing problem resolution assistance
