Computer Aided Design Checker

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is currently hiring a CAD Checker for a large client in the Dallastown, PA area. This position will be fully onsite Monday through Friday and will be a 6 month contract-to-hire. The CAD Checker will work directly with the CAD Design team to ensure that layouts, models, and drawings for clients such as the AF, Army, and Navy are complete and accurate. This person should have all of the skills required to do CAD Design, including an extensive knowledge of Inventor and a mechanical and/or electrical background. They will be tasked with reviewing customer specifications and SOWs for the program, checking individual CAD drawings for correctness, ensuring that each drawing is incorporated in to the entire deign correctly, and helping Designers understand if and why their drawings are incorrect.Must Haves4-10 years of experience in CAD design with InventorMechanical and/or electrical backgroundStrong attention to detail
