JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Acute Care
 Location: Phoenix, AZ
 Pay scale: $30- $32/hr
 Shift: Days/ Nights

   Unit: Virtual Companion CNA
 
   Shift: Days/Night, EOW, first to float
 
Required Qualifications
 
 
BLS(AHA) Required
 
AZ CAN License
 
Prefer CNA- with acute or LTC. Will take a CMA.
 
Good customer service skills, comfortable on the computer. Able to manage stress and communicate well in stressful times
 
 
EMR: Cerner
 
Job Types: - Contract, Travel
 
Pay Range: - $30 - $32/hr
 
Shift Notes: Day/Night: --12-hour weekend and holidays as needed; must be available for 2-3 day shifts for orientation- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Responsibilities:
 
 
Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting, assisting with activities of daily living.
 
Respond promptly to patient calls, assess needs, and provide appropriate assistance.
 
Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and urinary/fecal output.
 
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather information about patient conditions and treatment plans.
 
Remind patients to take medications and supplements, adhering to facility policies.
 
Stay updated on CNA training and maintain compliance with facility procedures.
 
 

 Requirements:
 
 
State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
 
Current CPR (American Heart Association).
 
Nursing degree from a CNA program.
 
CNA License.
 
COVID Vaccination.
 
Basic Life Support (BLS).
