JOB DESCRIPTION

Malace|HR is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cable Assembler to join our team. As a Cable Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling and modifying electronic equipment, including cable assemblies, harnesses, and other related components. You will work with a variety of materials, perform soldering, and ensure products meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Modification:

    • Assemble and modify electronic equipment, including cable assemblies, harnesses, and other components.

    • Route, cut, and prepare wires and cables for assembly.

    • Solder wires and connectors accurately.

    • Install various components into assembled products.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to complete tasks.

    • Identify, track, and manage wires and cables.

    • Use hand tools and/or machines to assemble parts.

  • Quality Control:

    • Inspect components and assembled products for quality and accuracy.

    • Perform quality control checks and measurements to ensure products meet specifications.

    • Troubleshoot and repair defective components as needed.

  • Additional Duties:

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

    • Work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high attention to detail.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cable assembly, electronics, or a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, such as schematics and blueprints.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise work.

  • Experience with hand tools and machines used in the assembly process.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
