**Job Title :Business Analyst**
**Location: Chicago, IL, Onsite local candidates only**

**Rate : Best competitive rate**

- Under the direction of the Director of Application Development and Management (ADM), works directly with clients of the Bureau of Technology to analyze business requirements to provide high functioning technology systems.
- Leverages staff expertise in Finance, Real Estate and Justice to develop and deliver interoperable solutions and shared services for Cook County’s business operations.
- Works collaboratively with project managers and technical teams implementing solutions or systems to develop business requirements to automate manual or inefficient processes.
- Specific  techniques might include cost benefit analysis, business process mapping and functional requirements gap analysis.
- Recommends technical and non-technical solutions including potential modification of existing business processes, enhancement of existing business application systems, implementation of purchased software solutions or development of a new business application system.
- May perform other work related duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED DEGREE**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
