JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Anesthesia Technician     Immediate Opportunity!
 
Location: Rochester, NY 14617
 
Pay Rate:  $45/hr
 
Duration:  13  weeks contract
 
Shift:  8hr Days
 
Guarantee Hours:  40
 
Schedule:  Position is Monday-Friday. No call requirement. Hours can be flexible if needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
 
Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
 
Assist anesthesia providers with patient positioning, connecting monitors, and preparing medication under supervision.
 
Clean, sterilize, and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
 
Troubleshoot and calibrate anesthesia equipment, ensuring all devices function correctly.
 
Stock anesthesia carts with necessary drugs, supplies, and equipment, performing regular inventory checks.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
 
High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
 
Anesthesia Technician Certification (Cer.A.T.T.) preferred.
 
Prior experience as an Anesthesia Technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
 
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, medications, and sterile techniques.
 
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
