PAY RATE: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Summary:
-
Seeking a skilled Integral Fuel Cell Mechanic to perform fuel tank maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on aircraft.
-
Responsibilities include handling structural components in fuel tanks, conducting leak and pressurization checks, and following Boeing and technical data guidelines.
-
Remove and reinstall brackets, supports, vents, tubes, and assemblies within fuel tanks.
-
Conduct dry capacity checks, FOD inspections, fuel tank leak repairs, and drain/purge tasks.
-
Perform fuel system maintenance, including resistance measurement, seal installation, and pressurization checks.
-
Defuel and refuel aircraft; complete maintenance safety tasks such as electrical grounding, lock-out/tag-out, and LEL testing.

Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, and replace fuel components, ensuring operational checks.
-
Access aircraft data via computer, initiate online parts, and report discrepancies.

Support flight control and landing gear operations, including installation, removal, rigging, and testing.
Requirements:
-
High School diploma/GED with 4+ years related experience, or equivalent (e.g., vocational training + 2 years, or Bachelor's degree).

2+ years as a fuel tank aircraft mechanic with expertise in schematics, technical data, and instructions.

Able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift 35 pounds, use protective gear, and pass Maintain necessary certifications; respirator use required.

Must adapt to shift changes, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime based on mission needs.
Desired Skills:

Experience with depot/general maintenance procedures, technical data, and LEL testing.
